JENNA LEE, FBN CORRESP0NDENT: Good morning, everybody.
Coming up on IMUS IN THE MORNING, Bo Dietl joins Imus in about 30 minutes from now. Before that, let's get to your "FOX Business Minute."
Ben Bernanke's replica breitling watches chances for a second term as Fed chairman are looking much better this morning. Over the weekend, Republican Senator Mitch McConnell and Democratic Senator Dick Durbin say they believe Bernanke will be confirmed.
The White House showing major support for Bernanke and saying, now is a bad time to play politics with the economy. The Senate is expected to vote sometime this week on the matter.
In the meantime, businesses might be ready to start hiring again. A new report by the National Association for Business Economics saying the easing of credit and an improving job outlook will lead to more hiring and spending in the next six months. But economists worry the economy will slow again if consumer spending doesn't pick up.
And the AIG's secrets almost got national security level treatment from the SEC. According to e-mails from earlier this year, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York only agreed to let AIG file the documents with the SEC if they got special security treatment. Only two SEC employees saw the documents and they were kept in a safe.
Congressman Issa says this is proof the New York Fed hid something. Issa is holding hearings this Wednesday. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, who ran the New York Fed at the time, will testify on that.

Here's a quick look at the European markets as we come off what was a down week yesterday on Wall Street. Looking a little bit mixed overseas, but, on our part, we're doing all right this morning. We were seeing gains of about 1 percent, nearly 1 percent across the board. S&P 500 up about 11 points. Dow Jones industrial up 91.

MCGUIRK: But they wanted me here, though.
IMUS: Pardon me?
MCGUIRK: They didn't object to me here.
IMUS: At WABC?
MCGUIRK: Yes.
IMUS: Oh, no. Fareed jumped off the couch. You can thank Fareed for that, by the way.
